Mechanism of action:
DeflaGyn implements a combined mechanism of action:
- Sanitation: Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) binds and removes pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi), cellular debris, and other irritants.
- Antioxidant protection: Sodium selenite and citric acid (Deflamin) neutralize the potentially harmful effects of pro-oxidants.
- Mechanical barrier: Hydroxyethylcellulose forms a protective film on the mucous membrane, limiting contact with pathogens and microcracks.
- pH stabilization: Citric acid reduces acidity, which promotes natural microflora.
Results of use:
- Cleansing the epithelium of harmful agents.
- Reducing irritation and creating conditions for self-healing of the mucous membrane.
- Maintaining a favorable microenvironment of the cervix.
